We joined forces with Evropa 2 radio and set out to merge technology and creativity in a way not yet seen in the Czech Republic. In under a month, we produced the first AI campaign that refreshed the station's long-standing communication concept "Držíme ti flek" (We've got your back).

Where technology

meets creativity

Spring 2023 brought the AI technology boom to the general public. The world (and our little Czech pond) was buzzing about ChatGPT and MidJourney there wasn't a media outlet that hadn't featured some AI-generated content. We knew we couldn't rest on our laurels and had to figure out how our clients could ride this wave in a way that actually made sense.

With AI making headlines far beyond professional circles, both we and the client realized the need to come up with something exceptionally fast.

Two teams worked on the project in parallel: designers and developers built the web application from prototype through design to OpenAI API integration, while a team of prompt engineers and copywriters crafted prompts for visual generation and accompanying copy.

MidJourney generated custom visuals, ChatGPT produced supplementary texts and scene descriptions. Within days, we designed and developed the application and generated thousands of unique visual variants that, combined with automated captions and hashtags, form the final image ready for sharing on social media. We saved hundreds of man-hours.

Evropa 2 fans

Through the web application, every Evropa 2 listener can create their own visual featuring their favorite host in unique (and even bizarre) scenes. The slogan "Držíme ti flek" (We've got your back) reflects the core concept Evropa 2 listeners are part of the brand and the entire hosting crew, anywhere and anytime.

The entire web application was designed to make it as easy as possible for fans to join in and share content on social media in various formats.

Pitfalls and challenges

of working with AI

Not everything went as smooth as the boss's bald head. Synchronizing AI content with the brand's tone of voice was a challenge, as was negative prompting to ensure brand safety. Teaching the AI to maintain a friendly tone without going off-script required testing multiple OpenAI language models.

MidJourney became the visual content engine hundreds of backgrounds were created in a timeframe that would have meant weeks of manual work. To make it easy for listeners to share, we prepared images in three formats: portrait for stories, landscape, and 1:1 for feed.

More than six months later, the web application is still live, allowing listeners to create and share unique visuals accompanied by witty captions and engaging stories. While we've witnessed the rapid rise of AI in the marketing sector, our collaboration with Evropa 2 showed that the key to success is combining the right technology with a deep understanding of the brand and its target audience. Our experience with this project demonstrated that AI doesn't just optimize processes and cut costs it also opens up new possibilities for creativity and innovation.

Defining the goal and direction

We defined campaign goals and its role in brand communication with the client. We explored how AI could enhance rather than replace the creative process.

Creative concept design

We developed a concept that positioned AI as a co-creator of the campaign. We tested various approaches and tools to find the right balance between automation and brand authenticity.

Production and output refinement

We adapted the generated visuals and copy for each campaign channel. We focused on readability, brand consistency, and shareable formats optimized for social media.

Deployment and evaluation

We launched the campaign and tracked its impact. The project confirmed that AI can be a practical, creative tool—when used with clear goals and proper quality control.
