PinCity is a startup project of our long-term client AQE. The collaboration spanned over two years, from initial concept through product launch to ongoing development. The platform enables citizens to participate in municipal decision-making.
From static images
to interactive maps
Development gradually shifted toward a SaaS model, enabling rapid deployment and management of new client instances. This makes the platform accessible even to smaller municipalities without the need for custom infrastructure.
Complex system
with demanding UX
The project scope and technology combination posed significant UX and development challenges. The specification alone exceeded 200 pages of functional requirements, user stories, and integration scenarios.
Standardized solution
instead of million-dollar experiments
Previously, municipalities developed similar tools independently, often without success and at costs running into millions of crowns. PinCity offers a ready-made, proven platform at a fraction of the cost.
