We developed the first fully automated virtual AI news anchor for Frekvence 1. The system uses a completely automated process to collect news from various sources, process them, and present them in both audio and video format using the voice and likeness of a real news anchor. Morning and evening news summaries are available at frekvence1.cz/zpravy-ai. The delivery also includes a fully AI-generated news website.

The virtual news anchor processes and presents news from various sources in a fully automated pipeline from collecting news, through editing, prioritization, and summarization, all the way to final presentation in any language. The system uses audio and video samples of a real anchor who consented to the use of their voice and likeness.

Alongside the AI anchor, we built a complete news website at frekvence1.cz/zpravy-ai where stories are published automatically. The site features full-text search, category filtering, and responsive design optimized for mobile consumption.

Technically, it's an orchestration of multiple AI models within a single pipeline: text processing, audio generation from the anchor's voice model, video synthesis, and automated publishing to the web. The entire process runs without human intervention.

The Frekvence 1 AI anchor runs on PHP with the Symfony framework and a React frontend. The pipeline orchestrates multiple AI models, including the OpenAI API, for text processing, voice synthesis, and video generation. The solution is containerized in Docker and deployed on Kubernetes.
