For Czech door manufacturer Masonite, we developed a web-based product configurator and a set of animated installation video guides. Customers use the application to configure doors by type, material, surface finish, and dimensions. The admin system manages thousands of product parameter combinations. The configurator is built on our Guru platform and has been in operation since 2017.

Czech door manufacturer Masonite features a new responsive website where all available door types are clearly organized. Thanks to the Guru web product configurator, customers can assemble their own custom doors from a mobile phone or tablet.

In the Masonite configurator, you select the door type, material, infill, and other parameters designing your custom doors online. It wasn't a simple task, but we handled it with ease. First, we had to create a data structure dynamic enough to accommodate the complexity. Then we designed an admin interface capable of working with a large number of data combinations and connected it to the front-facing pages.
Technical details

application state management, and Webpack for bundling. The configurator is written in ECMAScript 6 with a JSX preset for React. We could go on, but we don't want to bore you.
